init:
use raspi imager (on windows/kubuntu) to put full standard 32bit image onto sd card
boot with it (wait) and do full update when prompted (and reboot)
menu/preferences/screen configuration (sigh)
sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade

install Qt:
sudo apt install qtcreator qtbase5-dev qt5-qmake cmake libasound2-dev (asound is for alsa midi)

right click taskbar -> panel settings -> panel applets ->
double click application launch bar ->
drop down Programming on right -> double click qtcreator

run qtcreator...
file/sessions/manage -> restore session on startup
tools/options
desktop kit should be ok already but:
in kit tab, click desktop and
kit, c++, gdb, cmake should be picked for kit.
c++ compiler should be gcc (clang is ok)
kit is the qmake - should be found
else look for qmake in kit tab and Add it
usually somewhere in /usr/lib/qt*
text editor - font size 12
behavior - tab size, indent size 3 !
and anything else...

install python:
sudo apt install python3 python3-pip
pip3 install bs4 requests
(curl already there)

hook up my usb drive:
cd
ln -s /media/sh/BOCK/_ras _
copy .ssh files from bock _app

other apps:
sudo apt install filezilla baobab (disk usage analyzer)
